Boise Bend is a small natural area that offers nice river front access - good places to sit and listen to the water. It also is one the closest to the Blue Heron rookery. Last year we found an abundance of wildflowers, different kinds of bushes, and some creatively shaped cottonwood trees. It is one of my favorite Loveland hideaways. We will review identifying basic shapes, eye placement for birds, and quickly getting "the basics" and then adding observations. I'd like to share pictures of a famous nature journal with you, too. Bring a chair - there are only a couple old logs worth sitting on and they are in the sun. See you back at the bend, Michele
