Guided Walk: Nature, Birding, History - Mixed Ages
These monthly engaging walks with Loveland Open Lands & Trails introduce you to local areas you can enjoy for free. Interpretive Naturalist Guide Rein K. will help you connect to nature and Loveland's open lands. The program will include an informational walk through River's Edge, as Rein points out native plants and signs of wildlife to highlight the biodiversity present. Prime fishing and birding locations will be shared. Please prepare for the weather (appropriate clothing, sun protection, good walking shoes, and water). Park in the main River's Edge parking lot via the entrance nearest the river bridge. Meet at the picnic shelters east of the parking lot, by the green Open Lands flag.
