Community Drum Circle Celebrating Earth Day
04/21/2024
| 02:00 PM - 03:30 PM
River's Edge Natural Area (960 W 1st St)
Community Events - Mixed Ages
Join us for drumming, storytelling and audience participation. It will be a wonderfully "organic" way to celebrate Earth Day. Members of Djembe Jive will perform at River's Edge amphitheater. April 21 is also World Creativity and Innovation Day, so celebrate World Creativity and Innovation Day by exploring new ideas, taking risks, and joining a drum circle! Drummers will face the amphitheater and the amphitheater will be open for public participants. Bring your drum if you have one; this is a community drum circle event. Small percussion instruments will be available for anyone who attends who would like to join in. Chairs allowed up on the upper sidewalk and surrounding area. Drop in any time, registration very much appreciated but not required. For more information, call 970-962-2643 Michele Van Hare
