Volunteer Opportunity - Adult Programs

Open Lands & Trails offers free training to adults with a passion for the outdoors who would like to share their knowledge with others. If you have questions about how to become one of our naturalist guides, presenting a topic of your choice in one of our natural areas, please come to one of our open house Q&A info sessions. You will learn about training offered, support you'll receive, and programs currently being given by our Interpretive Naturalist Guides. Come by any time between 4-6pm. A short introductory PowerPoint presentation will be given every half hour, with open time for questions too. We're looking for guides to lead walks and programs on topics of your choice. It could be leading wildflower walks, teaching others how to fish, hosting a plein art session or even teaching others about wild turkeys and how to call to them. If you have something you'd like to share with the community, join us for an info session or sign up in Offero for the first evening of Interpretive Naturalist Guide training on September 15.
