This drop-in style public fishing event is appropriate for all levels of angling skill and geared toward all ages. Stations set up at River's Edge Natural Area will provide basic skills advice from fishing club members and Open Lands & Trails volunteers. Stations will include information about accessing rivers and ponds for fishing in the Loveland area, a demonstration table (with some macro-invertebrates, to see what the fish are eating!), and a fish handling station to foster good angler habits and ethics. Perfect for families, scout groups, and others wanting to learn about fishing your Loveland Open Lands. Please wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Bring your own equipment if you have some - loaner equipment supplies are limited.
Registration is requested for this event. By clicking "sign up" you will receive a reminder and updates about this program.
