Project Learning Tree Workshop for Early Childhood Educators Loveland Open Lands and Trails is hosting a Project Learning Tree workshop for early childhood educators, childcare providers, parents, grandparents, and other caregivers. High Plains Environmental Center, 2698 Bluestem Willow Dr., Loveland, CO 80538 The workshop will include teaching materials, hands-on activities, and lots of ideas and enthusiasm for getting young children interested in the outdoors and their friends the trees. This Project Learning Tree workshop will provide free materials and demonstrations of numerous environmental experiences for children in early childhood programs and group situations. Participants will receive a free activity guide and examples of activities to take home with them. Educators and licensed caregivers will receive a certificate of completion to apply toward yearly hours required for recertification or license renewal. Attendance at a PLT workshop also makes the participant eligible to apply for GreenWorks grants (more information on the PLT website).

Minimum Participants: 6
Maximum Participants: 18
