I am originally from Virginia and have lived in Colorado for about 36 years. Prior, I lived in North Carolina and California where I was a forest firefighter with California Department of Forestry (CAL FIRE). Once in Colorado, I became employed as a Park Ranger with Larimer County Parks Department. I have always loved the outdoors and spent my younger years backcountry backpacking, canoeing and mountain climbing. I am now retired spend time taking our dog who is a Therapy Dog, on visits.

I am retired from Occupational therapy. I have worked in this field for 24 years. I was a preschool teacher for 10 years before going to school for OT. I have lived in Colorado for 66 years I love the out doors, the mountains and praires, I enjoy, hiking, biking, camping, skiing, bird watching, dog training, fishing, swimming and volunteering. I currently am a trail host, helping with PEEPS, and Docent at Viestenz-Smith Mountain park.

Northern Colorado has been my home since 2019. I have volunteered with Open Lands and Trails since 2021 as a trail host, interpretive naturalist guide, educator, and EE Cabin docent. My love for nature and desire to share it's wonders with others is what drew me to OL&T and the community of people keep me coming back. I am a Chef by trade and spent many years in corporate learning and development.
