Guided Walk: Nature, Birding, History - Adult Programs
Are you interested in the natural world that exists in Loveland's open lands? Join Naturalist Rob P. to learn about the many life forms that call Loveland their home, and hear some regional history as you walk. Rob continues his weekend morning hike series with this 4-mile walk to explore the variety of ponds and habitats that constitute River's Edge Natural Area, "summer retreat" for birds and ducks, flowers and butterflies. We will meet at the North Jayhawker Pond parking lot (970 W 1st St.). This 3-hour walk is over improved soft-surface trails, mostly level and ADA-accessible to wheelchairs and walkers. Comfortable shoes, water and sun protection are recommended.
