Join Certified Interpretive Guide Eldon G. on the last Sunset Guided Walk of the season. What will Morey Wildlife Reserve have to show us after a full month of Autumn? ... the deciduous trees and shrubs in their autumn splendor, late blooming flowers, bushes laden with berries, migrating and resident birds, scat of large mammals (maybe even the animals themselves), and more. Morey Wildlife Reserve is a very special resource in an urban environment. Populations of deer and elk are almost always in the area. Bear and bobcats are frequent visitors. It is hard to predict what we will see this year, but it will not be boring. Parking for Morey Wildlife Reserve is on-street in the neighborhood. Please observe the No Parking signs and avoid blocking driveways. The green and white Open Lands & Trails feather flag will mark the way into the wildlife reserve. We will meet at the bottom of the hill as you walk through the gate into Morey. The soft-surface trail is an easy 0.7-mile loop. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable closed-toe shoes.

CancelI have spent most of my life in Colorado. I have a lifelong interest in nature as a photographer, an avid reader, a hiker (really an ambler), a student, and a teacher. I enjoy sharing nature with others and have been told that I make it easy and fun for my audiences. I have volunteered with the Open Lands and Trials Division since March 2018. I have volunteered as an instructor, trail host and guided walk leader. I am a Certified Interpretive Guide. I look forward to sharing time in Nature wit
