Guided Walk: Nature, Birding, History - Mixed Ages

Join us for a morning guided bird walk at Old St Louis Natural Area. Experienced volunteer birders Denise B and Andrew M will help search for and identify resident and migratory bird species in the area. We may see songbirds, raptors and waterbirds. Easy walk on natural-surface and paved trails through a wetland area and along the Big Thompson River. Binoculars, water and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Slow pace allows time for participants to see and hear the birds, and learn identifying characteristics. Age recommendation is 10 and up, accompanied by a parent or guardian. Registration required; space is limited.
