Join Certified Interpretive Guide Eldon G. for a Sunset Guided Walk at the new Willow Bend property which opened to the public on June 5. Willow Bend is one of the largest and most unique natural areas in Loveland. We will be exploring 1.25 miles of mostly soft surface trail, which gives us access to a small pond and the ADA accessible fishing area. Our explorations will include pond and riverside habitats along with a nice wet meadow. Be prepared to wander a bit off the trail by wearing long pants and closed-toed shoes. Insect repellent and sun protection are also advised. Please park in the upper Willow Bend parking lot (look for the green feather flag) and then walk the 1/5 of a mile down the road to the natural area amphitheater for the beginning of the program. There are 2 handicapped designated parking spaces down by the amphitheater.

I have spent most of my life in Colorado. I have a lifelong interest in nature as a photographer, an avid reader, a hiker (really an ambler), a student, and a teacher.
