Join us to celebrate Loveland Bike and Trails Day at the Farmers Market! This fun community event will take place at Fairgrounds Park in conjunction with the Sunday Farmers Market, in celebration of all things trail-related. We'll have fun for all ages, including local vendor and organization booths, bike safety checks, helmet fittings, bike speed radar, giveaways, trail maps, and other information. Food will be available to purchase from food trucks and Farmers Market vendors. Bonus - ride your bike to the event and receive $5 in Market Bucks! Stop by the green Market Manager tent for your $5 Market Bucks, valid for use at Farmers Market vendors. Take the National Trails Day® pledge to leave the trail and the outdoor community better than you found them, and be entered to win outdoor gear prize packs from National Trails Day sponsors. We are also celebrating National Trails Day with a volunteer stewardship project on Saturday, June 1. Check the Offero calendar for details and sign up to help!

CancelI am originally from Virginia and have lived in Colorado for about 36 years. Prior, I lived in North Carolina and California where I was a forest firefighter with California Department of Forestry (CAL FIRE). Once in Colorado, I became employed as a Park Ranger with Larimer County Parks Department. I have always loved the outdoors and spent my younger years backcountry backpacking, canoeing and mountain climbing. I am now retired spend time taking our dog who is a Therapy Dog, on visits.
I have spent most of my life in Colorado. I have a lifelong interest in nature as a photographer, an avid reader, a hiker (really an ambler), a student, and a teacher. I enjoy sharing nature with others and have been told that I make it easy and fun for my audiences. I have volunteered with the Open Lands and Trials Division since March 2018. I have volunteered as an instructor, trail host and guided walk leader. I am a Certified Interpretive Guide. I look forward to sharing time in Nature wit
My wife and I recently moved to Colorado (from Pennsylvania) and have enjoyed working with local Community groups. In addition to Open Land and Trails have the pleasure of working with passionate folks at the Larimere County Food Bank, Loveland Habitat, Rialto Theater, Gardens on Spring Creek and the Lincoln Center. Enjoy biking, hiking, pickle ball and reading in my spare time.
Since my birth long ago in 1950, I have had an immense interest in the natural world. It has been my good fortune to have gone on many hikes, rafting and canoe trips, and field trips (both in the US and internationally) with study of geology, botany, zoology, and ecology. My undergraduate training was in biology. My life has included living overseas (Turkey and the UK) for 6 years. Also I am a medical doctor. The outside world had been a immense source of wonder to me.
I am a retired software engineer who had moved from Alabama to Colorado in October, 2021. I am passionate about turning our yards - regardless of size - into pollinator habitats to increase the carrying capacity and biodiversity.
I grew up in Haysville, Kansas, near Wichita. I was an electrical engineer for Hewlett-Packard for nearly 35 years. Now, I'm a folk dancer and contra dancer. I also walk a lot
