Join us for a special guided bird walk as we team up with High Plains Environmental Center. Volunteers will help search for and identify resident and migratory birds around Houts Reservoir. We'll watch for spring species migrating to northern breeding grounds or nesting locally. We expect to see waterfowl, shorebirds, songbirds and raptors. Afterwards, visit the Native Plant Sale and Habitat Fair at High Plains Environmental Center from 9 am-3 pm. Easy walk on natural-surface trails. Binoculars, water and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Loaner binocs and spotting scope available. All ages welcome. Please dress for the weather in layers. Registration required.
