VSMP EE/Nature Cabin Visiting Days - Mixed Ages
The Cabin has been set up as a small natural history museum. There are examples of many Colorado native wildlife species; some behind glass but also many things to see and touch. The number of people inside the cabin will be limited so you may have to wait outside for a few minutes - there will be a bench to sit on. Masks are required, hand sanitizer will be available, and there will be a volunteer or staff person available to answer questions. Come check out this gem and learn about Colorado wildlife.

I have spent most of my life in Colorado. I have a lifelong interest in nature as a photographer, an avid reader, a hiker (really an ambler), a student, and a teacher. I enjoy sharing nature with others and have been told that I make it easy and fun for my audiences. I have volunteered with the Open Lands and Trials Division since March 2018. I have volunteered as an instructor, trail host and guided walk leader. I am a Certified Interpretive Guide. I look forward to sharing time in Nature wit
