Guided Bird Walk

| 08:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Old St. Louis Natural Area (1010 S St Louis Ave)
Guided Walk: Nature, Birding, History - Mixed Ages
We have partnered with Bird Conservancy of the Rockies (BCR) to present a Trail Feathers program which will help you get to know the winged wonders that share our home. Loveland's monthly bird walks explore a different Open Lands & Trails site in Loveland each month, covering many habitats with a chance to discover new birds each time. An experienced leader guides the walk, helping to spot and identify species along the way, and providing ID tips and other helpful birding info. This month, we'll explore the wetlands of Old St. Louis and the Big Thompson River corridor. This program is intended for anyone interested in birding, from beginners to experts. Bring binoculars if available and wear comfortable walking shoes. Be prepared to be outside for two hours (water, hat, sunscreen etc). Recommended for ages 10 and up with an adult. Overflow parking will be available - if the main lot is full, please park at 1016 S. St. Louis Ave, just south of Old St Louis Natural Area.
