Hello and Good Morning, I apologize for the late notice, I must cancel this morning due to low registration. There seems to be a bug going around. Several people have had to cancel things this week trying to keep the rest of us healthy, which is good. Next month we will be doing a cute "otter in the snow". For the last few years I've tried to have something people can use for a holiday card if they feel like it. I also try to pick something with easy basic shapes, should be fun. Hope you can come. NOT: Meeting at High Plains Environmental Center Topic for November - Landscapes. We are going to work on our landscapes and distance perspective and try our hand at sketching the lake, or barn, or barn and lake and birds. Art in Nature sessions are designed to make beginners very comfortable and encouraged with sketching and journaling, and to make everyone more knowledgeable about the nature around them. First-time participants receive an orientation to the "art" of nature journaling. There is a "sketch cheats" or journaling techniques lesson at the beginning of each session that is optional for returning participants. We'll all gather together during the last 10-15 minutes and share (optional) and cheer each other on. Both the Thursday afternoon and Friday morning sessions cover the same material. Times and locations of Art in Nature programs vary with changes in the seasons.
