Guided Walk: Nature, Birding, History - Adult Programs

We're hoping for a beautiful fall day, the kind that makes you think of harvests of hay and grain safely stored in the barn and silo. Join Open Lands and Trails staff educator Michele VH on a tour of the former farmstead that is now Sunset Vista Natural Area. Using vintage photos and some remaining landmarks, you'll get a feel for the site of one of Loveland's earlier settlers (and a single woman no less) and long time farmers. Please dress for the weather, including good walking shoes for the .75 mile out and back trip. You will also have the option of walking the nature trail loop to return to your car after the tour of the farmstead site.
