New Date: Art in Nature Sketching and Journaling - Hummingbirds
04/15/2026
| 09:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Old St. Louis Natural Area (1010 S St Louis Ave)
Outdoor Skills - Adult Programs
April is the month when the hummingbirds return to Colorado. There are 4 species we can draw - similar bodies but differing colors. We'll do some sketching and also talk about what you can do to attract these little jewels to your own yard. Art in Nature sessions are designed to make beginners very comfortable and encouraged with sketching and journaling, and to make everyone more knowledgeable about the nature around them. All levels of experience are welcome, basic materials provided. Both the Thursday afternoon and Friday morning sessions cover the same material. Times and locations of Art in Nature programs vary with changes in the seasons and topics change monthly.
