Volunteer Training: CSI (Critter Scene Investigation Program) - Feather Fluff Puff - Namaqua Park (730 N CR 19E)
Tuesday, 09 September 2025 @ 01:00 PM to 04:00 PM
Training Opportunity - Adult Programs
This training for our Critter Scene Investigation program is for any adult interested in presenting educational programs to young school children about Colorado wildlife. Students move from station to station, collecting clues for their investigation of which critter is responsible. As a CSI educational volunteer, you will help students examine the evidence at your station and help them narrow down the suspects. Each volunteer will staff one animal suspect table, hosting small groups of 5 to 8 children at a time, in grades K-1, as they rotate through the stations. Our free training includes experiencing all of the animal stations and covers the logistics of set-up, station rotations, and tear-down. For more information and curriculum details, see our Volunteer Opportunities and Environmental Education web page (www.lovgov.org/OLVOL). This training opportunity starts with a 30-minute preview, then stay for training if it appeals to you, no obligation to commit to teaching at this time. If you have questions, call Michele Van Hare at 970-962-2643 or email [email protected].
