Join us to celebrate Loveland & National Trails Day with a volunteer trail stewardship project! Volunteers can join the Trail Stewardship project at River's Edge Natural Area, where we'll be improving soft-surface trails with new crusher fine material. Project runs from 8-10AM. All tools and materials provided. Closed-toe shoes recommended, along with a hat, sunscreen, work gloves (we'll have extras), and a water bottle. Meet at the River's Edge main parking lot (960 W 1st St). Registration requested for planning purposes and notification of changes. After the project, volunteers can enjoy non-alcoholic beverages donated by Athletic Brewing Company and join the Trails Day community celebration at Centennial Park (8AM-12PM). There will be fun for all ages, including local vendor and organization booths, bike demos, bike and helmet safety checks, giveaways, trail info and maps, food (Fork Yeah! food truck), music and free face painting.
