Friday, 12 June 2026 @ 03:30 PM to 08:00 PM

Volunteer Opportunity  -  Adult Programs

Sign up to help with general trail maintenance and repairs along trails at Viestenz-Smith Mountain Park. Trained volunteers with the local CATS group (Colorado Association of Trail Stewards) will lead this project, providing instruction, tools, materials, and camaraderie. Check them out at: https://www.trailcats.org/ Meet at 3:30pm at the first parking lot on the right as you turn in the park entrance. If running late, grab a tool next to the van and head up the trail until you find the crew. Food: Please bring your own water and snacks. Equipment: Trailwork tools will be provided. Bring any equipment to facilitate work outside: work gloves, sturdy shoes, sun protection, hat, safety glasses. CATS volunteer trail stewards provide quality trail work to Northern Colorado land management agencies so that they can focus on keeping Natural Areas clean, safe and open for future generations to enjoy. CATS proudly accepts anyone from the community who wants to help improve the trails, and provides any training needed.
