Training Opportunity  -  Adult Programs

Meeting in the Erion Room (upstairs) in the Loveland Public Library. This training for our Critter Scene Investigation program is for any adult interested in presenting educational programs to young school children about Colorado wildlife. As a CSI educational volunteer, you will help students examine the evidence at your station and determine which critter is responsible. Each volunteer will staff one animal suspect table, hosting small groups of 5 to 8 students at a time, in grades K-1, as they rotate through the stations. Our free training includes experiencing all of the animal stations and covers the logistics of set-up, running the program, and tear-down. For more detailed information, see our website (www.lovgov.org/openlands) and click on Volunteer Opportunities and Environmental Education. This training opportunity starts with a 30 minute preview, then stay for training if it appeals to you, no obligation to commit to teaching at this time. See our website (www.lovgov.org/openlands) and click on Volunteer Opportunities and Environmental Education for more information. If you have questions, call Michele Van Hare at 970-962-2643 or email [email protected].
